Join us for Sci-Fest on TONIGHT at 6:30 pm. During the day 1st-8th graders have been building a glider out of household materials. Tonight at 6:30 pm, the students will fly their gliders in competition. The goal is to see whose glider will go the farthest and the straightest.


Join us on TODAY at Jimmy John's in Beech Grove (4914 S Emerson Ave). Just mention St. John when ordering anytime from 11 am- 10 pm. We know this is the same night as the Sci-Fest, so we encourage you to bring your dinner to the SciFest.


ISTEP tests for all students in Grades 3-8 begin on February 26th. It is important for students to be in school for their test days. The process will take about 2 weeks. Please help your student get plenty of rest each night and a healthy breakfast each morning.


Join us for Lenten services for the Series “Christian Suffering through the Eyes of Job” based on the book of Job. Wednesday Lenten services are at 4:30 pm and 7 pm in the Sanctuary with a soup supper between services in the Commons.


Saints on Stage are pleased to present The Music Man. Performances are 7 pm on February 23 and 24 and 3 pm on February 25. Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for students and can be purchased at here. Our 4th, 5th and 6th grades will attend a preview Wednesday morning. Permission slips must be returned for the trip. Did you know we have 8 St. John students performing in the play? 


Our Grandparents and Special Persons Day is happening Fri., March 17.  Our visitors will be with us beginning at  12:15 that day and will participate in a variety of activities with the students. We also offer a Book Fair as part of that day.


Information is available outside the office and was sent home last week about the annual Camp Invention to be hosted by Bunker Hill Elementary School from June 4-8 for Grades K-6 (9 AM – 3:30 PM daily). This week long program presents children with hands-on challenges that encourage creative problem solving, teamwork, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
