School News: May 8, 2018


Our annual spring Walk-a-Thon will take place tomorrow. To date, we have raised almost $5000. Don’t forget students can wear their derby hats but need to follow dress code. If you haven’t sent your letters out yet, there is still time. Or you can use the link to our website


Join us for a concert on Thursday, May 10th featuring our Concert and Beginning bands, as well as students in the 3rd and 4thgrades on their recorders. These musicians are all under the direction of Mr. Paul Johnson. The program is in the Dwelling Place and it begins at 7 PM.



You are invited to help us celebrate with Mrs. Cheryl Willig during an open house on Saturday, May 12th from 11:30 am-2:00 pm.

We are celebrating National Teacher Appreciation Week. We are having a Giddy Up theme - below is the daily breakdown.
Wednesday: HAT DAY and Walk-a-thon “Run for the Roses”
Thursday: “Wake Up with breakfast” The PTL will be providing our teachers with a breakfast  
Friday: “Snack Up” Students may bring in snacks and treats for the teachers to stock a snack cart.To donate food or to help with lunch monitoring, click HERE

We reserve the right to decline enrollment status if school balances are not paid in full. In accordance with Indiana state law, no records or report cards will be released in any form or transcripts forwarded to new schools until your financial obligations have been met.


The 1st thru 8th grade students will be attending the Indianapolis Indians Game on Tuesday, May 22nd. The game starts at 11 AM. Students tickets will cost $7.00 and is due by May 14th. Each class will need up to 4 chaperones to ride the buses and sit with the students. If you are interested in chaperoning, please send a Fast Direct to your child's teacher. A blind draw will be used to select the 4 chaperones for each class. The chaperone tickets are free. Other parents wishing to go would need to drive themselves and purchase tickets at the box office.
