A/V Team Assistance Needed - The A/V team is looking to add to their ranks! No experience is necessary, training is provided, and you will work in teams of two. It is not a large commitment, perhaps 1 time a month. This would be a great service opportunity for a tech-savvy high school student! Please contact Patrick Velzen ( ) if you are interested!
Lunch and Learn is sponsoring a trip to the Riley Home Museum in Greenfield on Thursday, May 4. Our tour is scheduled for 11:00 a.m. We will eat lunch following the tour at Lincoln Square Restaurant in Greenfield. Please RSVP to Paul Johnson by Monday, May 1 to register your attendance. If you wish to carpool to Greenfield please meet in the Hunter Rd. Parking lot by 10:15 a.m. on May 4. The museum admission is $3.50 per person. Parking is available at the museum at 250 W. Main St. St. John member Marissa (Driml) Purcell is the curator and our guide.

Stained Glass Project - The Stained glass project in the Sanctuary will be starting on May 9. Sunday, May 7 will be our last Sunday in the Sanctuary until November. During this time all church services will be held in the Dwelling Place.
RightNow Media Available to St. John Members
All members should have received an email including a registration link for RightNow Media. This is a streaming service style resource for Bible studies and all kinds of videos on Christian topics. St. John members are welcome to register for and use this service free of charge. For more information see the email or the flyers on the Welcome Center.
"God's Living Water" Vacation Bible School 2023 at St. John
VBS will be held from 6-8pm June 5-8. Volunteers are needed to help make this event a great success for students in pre-school through 4th grade. If you are interested in volunteering, please fill out THIS FORM to indicate your availability and area of interest. Planning meetings will be scheduled in the coming weeks. “My Soul Rejoices” - Join Lutheran Women in Mission for breakfast, singing, and prayer at the LWML Indy East Zone prayer breakfast at 9 am on Saturday, May 6, at Epiphany Lutheran Church in Westfield. Kathy Witto from Lutheran Child and Family Services will share about her ministry, and we will assemble hygiene kits for Orphan Grain Train.
The Mission Board has come up with a prayer guide for the National Day of Prayer. National Day of Prayer will take place on Thursday, May 4th. Click here for some suggestions of prayers. This list will also be found on the Welcome Center
St. John Jr. and Sr. Youth are selling greeting cards! Purchasing a box of greeting cards raises funds for youth needs, events, and trips. Each box contains 30 cards (Holiday box contains 50) and comes with a sturdy storage box. The sale runs through May 3rd. Click here to order online.
