The Call Committee would like to thank everyone who has submitted a congregational survey and nomination for Senior Pastor. The nominations have been forwarded to the Indiana District. Because of Spring Break, Holy Week, and Easter, the Call Committee is currently planning to have its next meeting on April 19 with Pastor Stuckwisch. We appreciate your prayers and we will provide an update after our next meeting.
Lunch and Learn continues on April 6 (Maundy Thursday) with a program presented by our own Matthew Frick. Matthew will speak to us about his role at St. John as well as his vision for our congregation as he assumes the role of Director of Christian Community. Fish filets will be served. Please bring a side or dessert to share. Lunch begins at 11:50, doors open at 11:30. Looking ahead plan for Riley Museum in May, Randy Ollis in June, Indians Game in July, Gary Varvell in August. We hope to see you April 6!
St. John Lutheran School will not be in session Good Friday, April 7 and Easter Monday, April 10. The Church & School office will be closed as well.
There will not be Sunday School Classes for the next two Sundays.
Noah Schroeder's and Rick Kerr's Sunday morning Bible studies will still meet.
Join us at Christ Lutheran Church on April 15 where we are thrilled to host Pastor Michael Salemink, Lutherans for Life Executive Director, to talk to us on the next steps for the Pro-Life movement after the overturning of Roe. LHS Summer Sports Camps - June 2023
