The Pre-K and Kindergarten students will be singing this coming Wednesday. The Church Council and Trustees will be providing a brat and hot dog meal beginning at 5:00. Please take this extra time to grow in the wonder of what God has done in Christ Jesus and in living as His disciples!
Voters' Meeting - There will be a Voters' Meeting on Sunday, March 10, at noon, for the purpose of extending a Call to Mrs. Laura Collins. Mrs. Collins has been teaching 4th grade and recently received her colloquy, making her eligible to receive a Call to St. John.
Call Committee Update - The Call Committee has received additional names and profiles from potential Senior Pastor Candidates. Over the next few weeks, they will be reviewing the profiles and scheduling conversations with the candidates. Please continue to lift up in prayer the Call Committee, the process, our congregation and our next Senior Pastor.

Lunch and Learn - On March 7, Lunch and Learn will host a speaker from Franciscan Alliance on healthy eating. Wear your green and join us for lunch of corned beef and cabbage beginning at 11:30.

Coming soon is the 2024 Spring Flower and Plant Sale! Details will be sent out next week. This year, the proceeds will go toward updating the school kitchen serving line. Please consider purchasing your spring plants to benefit our school!
Landscaping Beautification - The Trustees are looking for groups, families, or individuals that would like to "adopt" areas of our grounds to help beautify the curb appeal of St. John. If you are interested, please contact Michael Collins or Ron Wampner.
LWML Mite Offering - Every first Sunday of the month, LWML collects mite offerings to support various mission efforts around the world. Mites can be given in any amount, whether loose change, cash, or check. Please deposit into the large mite box on the LWML table in the Commons.
Ordination Anniversary - On March 24, Rev. Dr. J. Dirk Reek, a son of our congregation, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination into the Holy Ministry. If you are interested in participating in a card shower to mark the occasion, cards may be mailed to: 5552 Blackpool Road, Lincoln, NE 68516-4924. Pastor Reek’s family says, “We are eternally grateful for the prayers, guidance, and faithfulness of the teachers, pastors, and member of St. John over our years there.
