Join us for a Spring Garden Workshop in the Commons on Saturday, March 17, 9 am - noon, for our members and the community. Purdue Extension Marion County horticulture educator Steve Mayer will present on new vegetable and ornamental plants for your garden, and on spring lawn care. Ginny Roberts, Purdue Extension urban gardening program assistant, will present on how to get started in vegetable gardening. Allen Janke, St. John member with a bachelor's degree in landscape architecture (BLA), will present on designing and choosing perennials for your garden. He will also lead tours of the Courtyard Garden, which he designed and planted. Allen, who has planted many of the landscaped areas around our church and school, will also answer questions about maintaining what you plant in your garden. Come and hear the presentations and ask your questions. Breakfast snacks will be served. Registration is required in advance as space will be limited. $5 registration is requested and can be paid at the registration table in the Commons, at the St. John Office, or HERE.  Questions?
