The Junior Choir students will be singing this coming Wednesday. The school board will be providing a baked potato bar beginning at 5:00. Please take this extra time to grow in the wonder of what God has done in Christ Jesus and in living as His disciples!

• Call Committee Update - The Call Committee has received additional names and profiles from potential Senior Pastor Candidates. Over the next few weeks, they will be reviewing the profiles and scheduling conversations with the candidates. Please continue to lift up the Call Committee, the process, and our congregation in prayer as we seek God’s will for our next Senior Pastor.
   
• Board Installation - This weekend we observe the installation of our Church Council officers and all board members. We thank God for these, his servants, as they provide leadership and support to all the various ministry areas at St. John.

• Lunch and Learn - On March 7, Lunch and Learn will host a speaker from Franciscan alliance on healthy eating. Join us for lunch beginning at 11:30.

• Dine to Donate - Support St. John Lutheran School by dining to donate at SHAKERS (8142 E. Southport Rd.) on February 26th from 3-10 pm!

• Wednesday Bible Study - we will be starting a new series next week on The Ten Commandments. Bring your small catechism, if you have one. Join us beginning at 9:45. The coffee is always on at St. John! 
   
• Junior High Youth - will meet again on Sunday, March 3, from 3-5pm at St. John. We will do a variety of glow in the dark activities.

Ordination Anniversary - On March 24, Rev. Dr. J. Dirk Reek, a son of our congregation, will celebrate the 50th anniversary of his ordination into the Holy Ministry. If you are interested in participating in a card shower to mark the occasion, cards may be mailed to: 5552 Blackpool Road, Lincoln, NE 68516-4924.
