Six of our St. John High School youth students enjoyed being in the midst of God’s love with 140 fellow high schoolers at the Indiana District Youth Gathering held at Camp Lakeview.  The youth experienced guest speaker Gabe Kasper, the music of Remedy Drive, (our own youth even got to exclusively meet and hang out with them for a little bit), serve at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church & School in downtown Columbus, try their hand at karaoke, have an awesome glow out night with the band followed by a dance party!  

      The gathering focused on the Bible verse from Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is in your midst, a mighty one who will save; he will rejoice over you with gladness; he will quiet you by his love; he will exult over you with loud singing,” teaching our youth that they have a purpose and God has created them for a purpose.  God is excited to call them His own and He is there for them through the storms and the triumphs of life. Our youth are excited for what IDYG has to bring next year.
