Summer Maintenance Projects

The hallways may have been quieter than they usually are around St. John this summer, but that doesn't mean our campus hasn't been a flurry of activity. Throughout the summer, maintenance and campus improvement projects have been completed to help keep our campus a great place to cultivate Christ's community through courageous discipleship and compassionate action. Some of the projects that have been completed include:

Phase 2 of the school window replacement (classrooms on the north side of the building)
New Childcare playground built, and new outdoor play equipment added
New fence built around Childcare playground
New barrier built and mulch spread around the school playground
Parking lot stripe painting in both parking lots
Painting in classrooms and other areas around the school
School water softener installed
Continuous landscape maintenance
Routine summer deep cleaning and floor waxing in the school
On-going church HVAC repair and maintenance

These projects would not have been completed without the labor of dedicated volunteers, staff, and contracted service people. They have been made possible through fundraised, grant, and allocated funds. Several more projects are on the horizon through the course of the upcoming year. We celebrate with gratitude that our church and school is able to maintain excellence in all areas of our building to ensure a quality environment for all who come on our campus.
