Youth Prepare for LCMS National Youth Gathering

This past year the youth have been selling soap, hosting the Christmas Concert, Easter Breakfast, All the King's Daughters event, Parents' Night Out and more to raise money to attend the LCMS National Youth Gathering.

They are thankful for all the prayers, donations and Congregational support to make their trip possible.

The LCMS National Youth Gathering provides thousands of youth and adults the opportunity to come together as a community to learn more about Jesus Christ, the Christian faith and their Lutheran identity. During the five days of the Gathering, youth spend time together in God’s word, worship, service and fellowship with others from across the synod. This year's theme focuses on In Christ Alone.

“In a world which makes many statements about what we stand for or against, we hope Gathering participants will hear the clear proclamation that it is in Christ alone that we are able to stand,”€ said the Rev. Mark Kiessling, associate director of LCMS Youth Ministry and director of the Gathering program.

As a Congregation, we are still asking for your prayers as these 21 youth and six adult chaperones head to New Orleans from July 16-20:
