St John Automation helps prepare church communications and worship materials for St. John Lutheran Church and School in Indianapolis.
The automation runs on the church’s Mac mini. With the Gmail account owner’s permission, it finds the church’s weekly “St. John E-News” email, prepares a blog draft in Fishhook, and prepares materials for a ProPresenter service presentation.
Gmail access
Google authorization grants read-only Gmail access. The application searches for newsletters from whose subject begins “St. John E-News for”. It reads matching messages to prepare the church materials. It does not send, delete, or change email.
Review before publication
Blog posts are saved as drafts for review. The automation does not publish posts or trigger a ProPresenter output. The workflow is being configured and tested; some presentation preparation still requires an operator’s review.
Who uses this app
This is a private church workflow for the configured Gmail account and authorized operators. It does not offer public account registration.
