An "A" Rated School

St. John Lutheran School is accredited by National Lutheran Schools Accreditation (NLSA) and the State of Indiana.The school complies with all rules and regulations of the state. The curriculum follows the Indiana Academic Standards and complies with the transition to Common Core Standards. All teachers at St. John Lutheran School hold State of Indiana teaching licenses. 

Our current School Improvement Plan (SIP), which satisfies the requirements of NLSA and the State of Indiana, includes four areas of emphasis:

  • Goal #1 - Students experience a wide variety of learning experiences as teachers integrate technology into the classroom.
  • Goal #2 - Student readiness for learning improves as the home/school connection is strengthened through parent education.
  • Goal #3 - Students of all abilities have success as teachers design classroom experiences to meet the academic and emotional needs of challenged students.
  • Goal #4 - Students reach out to others through opportunities for Christian service.
