CHAPEL REMINDERS

The last Chapel of the School Year will be led by Mr. Jeff Huntington on Friday, May 26th at 12:15 pm.

All are invited to attend! Wednesday, May 24.  

6PM Our Middle School Band and Choir will be performing.

7PM Our Middle School Drama and Tech Crew will be performing the Murder Mystery: "Days of our Nights."

All Events will take place in the Dwelling Place and are appropriate for all ages.

 

Due to bowling the lunch menu will change this Thursday, May 25.  It will be a PB&J sack lunch. 

YEARBOOKS

All Pre-K to 8th grade students will be receiving a yearbook. These yearbooks will be distributed to the students in preparation of our yearbook signing event (K-8) this Wednesday, May 24 at 1:30 PM in the gym. Students are encouraged to bring and use a favorite pen for this event. (non-permanent pens, preferred). Yearbooks will be sent home that afternoon to enjoy!

EARLY CHILDHOOD CELEBRATION

This Thursday morning, May 25 at 10 AM, we will have an opportunity to join with our Pre-K and Kindergarten students in a Celebration. The classes and their teachers will be leading those attending with some special music and a short program. The students also will be honored with some special certificates.

AWARDS DAY

An Awards Day will be held this Thursday at 8:15 AM in the Dwelling Place for grades 1-8. Each student in these classes who has participated in at least one special activity will be receiving a certificate listing their St. John Lutheran School involvement for the year. Family members may join us for this event, but should sign in at the main office (Door S-1 by the flag pole) before coming down to the Dwelling Place.

GRADUATION

 Join us this Friday at 7pm in the Dwelling Place for the Class of 2023 Graduation.

LAST WEEK OF SCHOOL

• Wednesday, May 24th:
  • Yearbook Signing (K-8th Grades) 1:30 pm. PreK students will receive their yearbooks on Wednesday morning.
• Thursday, May 25th
  • 1st-8th Grade Awards Ceremony 8:15-9:45
  • Early Childhood Program (PreK and K) will take place at 10 am. This will be the last day for all PreK and Kindergarten students.
  • 1st-8th Grades: Expo Bowl from 12:30-2. The cost for bowling is $5 per student. We still need drivers.

• Friday, May 26th
  • 1st-8th Grades: Last Day of School.
  • Chapel at 12:15
  • Dismissal at 1 pm. There will be NO AFTER CARE
  • Graduation 7pm

REPORT CARDS

• Report Cards will be sent via email to all K-8th Grade parents on Friday, June 2nd.  All balances must be paid in full in order to receive your student's report card. 

 

The school office will be closed Monday, May 29 in observance of Memorial Day. Starting Tuesday, May 30 the summer office hours will be every Tuesday, Wednesday, & Thursday from 9am-11am.

SUMMER CAMP
This is the last call for Summer Camp Registrations. Registration for Summer Camp will close on Wednesday, May 31st. Click here to register.

VBS
"God's Living Water" Vacation Bible School 2023 at St. John VBS participation registration is NOW OPEN. VBS is for Pre-K-4th Grade. Please click here to register your child. VBS will be held from 6-8pm June 5-8.
